Marc and Janna Milbradt are the owners of Purple Iris Yarn Shop and Marshall Sewing Center Service and Repair, located in downtown Marshall, Minnesota. Our store has come full circle, as we once owned a fabric and yarn shop back in the 80’s just up the street from where we are now. Marc continued the repair business and has serviced any make and model of sewing machines since 1984. Janna’s passion for yarn and love of retail never left her, and in November 2005 we made the decision to reunite our interests, and opened up Purple Iris Yarn Shop and Marshall Sewing Center Service and Repair and have created a very unique shop.

Our theme is "Welcome Friends," and we have created a warm and cozy atmosphere to make anyone feel at home. Set your creativity free as you browse through over 150 fabulous yarns in beautiful colors and textures, in any color palette imaginable. Books, patterns, and accessories to complete any project, and many beautiful samples are displayed throughout the store. Our "New" Iris Boutique offers a beautiful variety of handmade items for sale. Learn the basics of knitting, crochet, and tatting in many of the classes offered, as well as intermediate and advanced skills. Begin your own adventure into the World of Yarn. We guarantee you'll become addicted.

Marc is also available to help you with all your sewing machine needs. He has serviced all makes and models of sewing machines since 1984.
